Red Thread Ceremony at The Yurt

Join me - as the Moon grows to fullness. Let us gather and share stories, sing songs and be in the nourishing energy of the feminine. 

You're invited to gather in the ways of our ancestors under the energy of the nearly full moon! In ceremony and celebration!!

There is a long lineage of women who came before us that we are deeply connected to. They gathered in this way to honour themselves, each other and Goddess. To celebrate and honour the power of the Divine Feminine, Mother Earth and her seasons and cycles. To share wisdom, poetry, song and to dance in their fullest expression under the light of Grandmother Moon.

For this particular gathering, we will be honouring the Red Thread - that which connects us all as womxn. Traditionally practiced in mother blessings, the red thread circle ritual would have been performed to support  a woman who was about to give birth. The red thread would be wrapped around the wrist of each sister in the space and left on until the safe birth of the baby. 

Instead, we will be sharing our dreams and wishes, projects and ambitions that we want to birth. The Full moon represents the fullness of the pregnant mother....so we will utilise this time in the lead up to the Full moon in Pisces to weave our dreams around the circle. Holding each others dreams and visions in the sisterhood until the moon reaches it's peak. 

You're welcome into this space exactly as you are.  You are a beautiful, powerful, multi - faceted WOMXN and being in a circle with other sisters can be medicine for us all to remember that.

Let us sing, dance, share and feast in honour of the feminine within us all.

~Bring something to place on the altar (to charge it up with loving energy from the space)
