Full Moon Ceremony for Women ~ Celebrating the Maiden!
Time & Location
About the Event
"A Ceremony to express gratitude for the arrival of Spring and the energy of the Maiden Goddess"
On April 19th the moon turns full in front of the constellation 'Virgo the Maiden'.
"Virgo is so often mistakenly taken as the Virgin, depicted as a nun or chaste woman. The real representation of this constellation is 'Virgo the Maiden', who carries an ear of corn. The Star Maiden or Star Goddess Astraea was daughter of Zeus and Themis. Across the spectrum of ancient cultures, the Virgo Maiden was consistently recognized as a Great Goddess, a nurturing woman linked to fertility and the harvest"
Let us come together to celebrate the Spring and allow our creative, fun energy to shine through. Exploring our inner Maiden and share the stories told by our Ancestors. You're welcome just as you are.
